Overview

The City Energy Project was a national initiative led by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Institute for Market Transformation (IMT) to help cities improve energy efficiency in large buildings. Its first phase worked with ten U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Orlando, Philadelphia and Salt Lake City.
