Overview
The City Resilience Profiling Tool (CRPT) is UN-Habitat’s comprehensive, “urban systems” approach to help cities withstand and recover from any plausible hazard while maintaining critical services. It guides a city through a structured diagnostic across social, economic, and environmental dimensions to produce a resilience profile and action plan.
Key features
- Holistic assessment covering all urban systems, not single hazards
- Builds on the UN’s Local Government Self-Assessment Tool
- Field-tested in cities including Barcelona, Beirut, Dakar, Dar es Salaam, and Wellington
Who it’s for
City officials, urban managers, and partners developing an evidence-based resilience strategy.
